For anyone who enjoyed the show Jon & Kate Plus 8 this book is a great read. Kate reveals more about their experiences during her pregnancy and their lives before the sextuplets arrived than has been discussed on the show. This book also reflects the strong Christian faith held by the family and how it has influenced their outlook on life with multiples.

i read this book after the kate/jon divorce, and cried while reaidng the dedication. i'm a total fan and a bit of celebrity hound... this fed my guilty pleasures well, by giving me an insight into their family life. i have nothing but respect for kate. it really opened my eyes to exactly how insanely difficult they had it at the beginning...

With the same humour, warm-hearted tone, and strong sense of mind seen in her character on Jon and Kate Plus Eight, Kate Gosselin narrates the events of her life prior to the show, moments that have only been touched upon lightly by herself and Jon. Despite the overusage of metaphors and similies to depict her work, she and Jon's initial struggles are ones that should be read, particularly considering the increased attention they've received from the media and the sad turn their marriage has taken.

As a huge fan of their TV show, reading this book would be interesting for me. But after reading it, you really ought to give them more credit. Their lives are beautifully captured by Kate's point of view and her skill as a writer. It's so amazing to see how far they've come. A great read.
