A terrific beginning to the 4-book series. Full of intrique, clan rivalries, love and romance, with power struggles and assasination attempts. Honor, and the mysterious almost magical powers of The Tribe. Absolutely loved the whole series. Beautifully written with a nice balance between telling the story and describing the settings and emotions. I would read it aloud to my fiance and she loved it.

I loved this book! There are four more books in this series and I can't wait to read them. Beautiful storytelling. There are a lot of characters to keep track of, but worth the read. I didn't want to put it down!
