Flat on back excercises are perfectly safe for most Moms, especially or short amounts of time. As she points out in the video, if you feel uncomfortable or dizzy at any time on your back (this happens to only about 10% or preganant women, and ususally only in the third trimester) , simply stop doing the excercise.
I would check with your physician before doing this workout due to several exercises that are not safe for baby or mom.
BEWARE - The instructor does many exercises that are not safe for pregnant women, namely flat-on-the-back exercise.
REALLY FANTASTIC! She has a few different exercise programs and all of them are great. You can also program it to play a few 10 minute sessions in a row and get a longer workout; or you can just do one 10 minute workout. Really upbeat and motivating!
I've tried a few pregnancy workouts and this one is by far the best. It also actually is only 10 minutes per workout including warmup and cooldown. I'm over 6 months along now and can do this dvd fairly easily. Enjoy!
