I enjoyed this thrilling read! Very fast paced and well developed. Everything seems perfect for 23 year old Kate Raab until her father's gold trading business is implicated in illegal trading with a powerful Colombian drug cartel. Faced with countless years of prison, Kate's father decides to help the FBI in exchange for Witness Protection for him and his family. Not wanting to give up her comfortable life, Kate refuses. She must part with her family, possibly never seeing them again. When Kate is tracked by suspicious people she thinks are part of the cartel, she starts investigating her family's past. She begins to put the pieces together and realizes everything she has known is not what it seems. Her conclusions bring her to question where her true loyalties lie.

Plenty of suspense and "twists". If you like a good thriller, read this book. Mr. Gross wrote this story in the style of James Patterson's earlier novels. Very entertaining and surprise ending.
