From a border collie at a shopping mall to a pit bull in a Mississippi truck stop, The Dogs Who Found Me recounts the stories of a dozen dogs who chose author Ken Foster to rescue them. Initially reluctant, Foster set a four- hour time limit for placing the first strange dog he brought into his New York City apartment, only to discover that this would be the first of many dogs who would seemingly choose him to lead them, one way or another, to their new home.

Loved this! The stories really grab you and hold on tight, especially if you're a dog lover! But, what I also appreciated about this book was the addition of practical advice, such as what to do if you should find a stray dog, or what to pack for emergencies. While he doesn't go into too many details with his advice, it's enough to get you started.

I have never laughed and cried so much reading a book. Literally within one page. One of the most touching and heart wrenching books I have ever read. I have ended up buying it and giving it away multiple times. Great book.

A wonderful book about a kind-hearted person who is drawn to the hard work and rewards of fostering. Very realistic.
