Train Country

An Illustrated History Of Canadian National Railways

Book - 1994
Rate this:
While the train fan will cherish this history, the focus is Canada's relationship to CN. Perry spent 40 years in CN's PR department and is responsible for the splendid selection of pictures from their photo files. Most of the book covers the steam years. A fine account ranging from the main line to the remote branches on which "the people's railway" gave extraordinary service. Although many Douglas & McIntyre books are distributed in the US by the University of Washington Press, this one is not. Canadian card order no.: C94-910138-9.
