This is a very interesting find! Was "surprised" when I picked up this choice from an on-line reservation! It has the make up of a text book which I found as a surprise. I find each of the sections interesting as each of them tell an intriguing story of both the person and their adventures behind their creation. I am both interested in the history of the United States and development of technologies and innovations that have influenced our society. I am educated in engineering, so challenges in working through any "problem" tweaks my interest.

This is one of my favorite books of all time. A truly fascinating book about the people who helped create our modern world. The sections on Oliver evans and Samuel Insull should be required reading for anyone interested in the history of technology and business.
