I love it when the suspects are gathered in the library. Good series. Hamish Macbeth is funny.

The Death of a Prankster: A Hamish Macbeth Mystery --- by --- M. C. Beaton. I still remember the opening scene of the first Hamish Macbeth episode I ever saw: the island’s local constable breaks the headlights of a parked Mercedes with his revolver so he can give the car’s owner a ticket for failing to maintain his vehicle in a safe condition … the owner who just happened to be having it off with Hamish’s off and on again girlfriend. I was hooked. The show did not disappoint. And the, after just three seasons, the show was yanked. The TV series was based on a series of novels written by Hamish Macbeth. This is one of the. And now I’m hooked. Again.
