The Night Tree has become one of my favorite Christmas books. It is not overtly 'Christmasy' but it is definitely all about family, kindness and generosity. It's a breathe of fresh air. The illustrations on the last 2 pages are joyous.

. . . I wish we knew why it's called "Lukes forest".
