This is a wonderful book, and I could not stop reading it, 300 pages of beautiful writing that completely captivated me. There is a simplicity to the story that reminded me of The Dog Stars by Peter Heller, but Clade is a more complicated story, our climate changing too fast for our modern society to fix and the world that comes into being as a result. The science here is solid, which really makes the book resonate.

I enjoyed this book immensely. It was outside of my usual reading, but I loved the characterizations and the situations showed the whole global warming in a new perspective for me.
We are always hearing about the dire consequences of the warming effect but with this book, you go along with the characters as they live through the changes and cataclysms.
With all the dire outcomes and the dreadful occurrences in the book, I found the ending very positive and with a good clear message for a possible future.

This is not something I would usually read but I found that I really enjoyed it . Uplifting for an apocalyptic read.

One of the best novels I've read in a long time. The book is beautiful, compassionate and human, and the prose is breathtaking. I highly recommend it.
