I enjoyed the story, and excellent characters, in particular the down syndrome boy was so good. Koontz's heroes are never perfect, and always interesting. The Pollard family of villains are particularly creepy, and disturbing.

Overall, good story I enjoyed. Altough it took me a long time to read it... The ending is just messed up tho...
