I enjoyed this book much more than the previous installments of this series. I like Jackson's character, although he gets kind of redundant with the "Damn, woman"s. I think I actually laughed out loud when he said "Shit just got real." Alani was assertive without being "Too Stupid To Live." I appreciated her loyalty and trust in Jackson during the final show-down. The way they tip-toed around each other emotionally was endearing, but would have grated if it had lasted much longer. The action and intrigue got pretty convoluted, but not enough to distract me. I couldn't put this book down and have heard good things about the next one. Arizona mostly seems to have the skills to back up her bravado, but she's definitely reckless. We'll see how that translates.

Lori Foster's writing is becoming so diluted. There's lots of talk, not very much action. I am quickly loosing interest in Lori Foster
