Took me a while to get into the story but what originality!! I persevered and found I couldn't put it down. It gives 'Pulp Fiction' a whole new meaning.

Absolutely loved it ! I adore quirky characters, humour intertwined with melancholia and books. Didn't want it to end.

French whimsy served up with lots of toilet/body humour, disillusioned characters with hopes for a better life, and a scary book-pulping machine that eats rats. Not really me but I finished it.
