The last thing event planner Tara Lincoln needs is the jet-set lifestyle of a football pro like Mick Riley; even though their steamy and passionate one-night stand proved that Mick is an all-star--both on the field and in the bedroom. Tara played the game of love once and lost big, and she doesn't intend to put herself out there again, especially with a certified heartbreaker. But when Mick sets his mind to win, nothing will stop him. And he has the perfect play in mind to catch this sultry vixen.

Besides the steamy, erotic sex - there wasn't much too this novel. I didn't really care about the hero and heroine and didn't think they had much of a relation besides sex. I usually love sports romances, and am willing to maybe try out one more by her, but I'll adjust my expectations from what they were prior to going into this novel.

One of the best Jaci Burton books I have read. And she is right, the cover art is perfect.

This is the 1st book in this series - I suggest you read them in order to more easily follow the connected characters. A fun, hot enjoyable set of books to get into if you like erotic romance!

Ah the perfect escape of a romance novel! I really liked the characters and thought they were glamorous yet grounded. The plot was plausible and the sexy times were very sexy. I'll definitely be reading the next book in this series featuring the brother of this book's male lead!

This book was very sexually graffic & it really disturbed me with the poronographic tendacies. I would not recommend this for enjoyable reading. If this "erotica" had a plot, I didn't want to finally get there, as I had to stop reading. It didn't get me "hot" it got me annoyed.

** spoiler alert ** I give it a 2.5 stars.
Everything was just a little too perfect in this book. We have the mother who got pregnant at 15 and yet still managed to finish high school and go to college despite having no support from her family. Then she is able to raise a child all on her own and open a event planning company.
Then Mick who was an alcoholic but managed to get a scholarship, university degree, and then get drafted into the NFL. Really?
These characters had major obstacles in their lives yet they seemed to not suffer any of the consequences.
That and the sex scenes were pretty hard core. I think a little subtlety can go a long way. I much prefer the styles of authors like Lisa Kleypas and Karen Marie Moning.
All that being said, for an erotica it actually did have a plot. I didn't hate it but I'm not inspired to read anything else by this author either

Loved the story. The characters were great and you could easily relate to them. The scenes where HOT. A very well written book. Can't wait for the next book.
