I honestly have to say that this "History of the Joke" documentary had both its fair share of good moments, as well as its not-so-good moments, too. Yep. That it did.

Hosted by American comedian, Lewis Black - I certainly found that this 90-minute presentation actually managed (at times) to take the humor right out of the joke by seriously over-analyzing the recurring question of "What makes us laugh?"

'Cause - Let's face it, folks - What may be considered hilarious to some may not necessarily be so to others.

(*Note*) - Some psychologists actually view the emotional release of laughter as being a form of uncontrollable insanity..... (Oh!? Yeah!? Like - That's so funny, I forgot to laugh!)

I've seen this twice in the last year. It's nothing short of terrific. There are lots of laughs throughout. And not only that, it's made exceptionally well. The end has a slew of jokes that are noteworthy of remembering so you can tell your friends...I did.
