Feminism has shaped the society we live in. But just how far has it brought us, and how relevant is it today? Status Quo? zeroes in on key concerns such as violence against women, access to abortion, and universal childcare, asking how much progress we have truly made on these issues. It uncovers answers that are provocative and at times shocking. Rich with archival material and startling contemporary stories, Status Quo? is crucial viewing for every Canadian, especially those unfamiliar with the vital achievements of the feminist movement. This striking, in-depth documentary pays homage to Canada's feminist forerunners and raises important questions about where and how we should move on from here.

these women that call themselves 'feminist' today are simply also-rans. They disregard all those true feminists who have gone before and all that they achieved. And in so short a time.
Today's feminist is nothing but an also ran. Do you think any of these silly twits running around with vaginas on their heads would be willing to be jailed, beaten, or even killed? To say nothing of losing your families, your jobs, or status in the community.
These women dont deserve to walk the same roads as those women, let alone call themselves by the title 'feminist'. Im ashamed of them, they dont represent me.
