An arresting look at the underbelly of modern Pakistan, and a novel which may be slightly outside many readers' comfort zone. But don't let that stop you! ...This author also provides nuanced political and economic bytes that can make you wish for more.

Not as interesting as The Reluctant Fundamentalist but flashes of the work to come are in there.
