In Can this Be Christmas? several strangers riding a train are trying to get to Boston in the middle of a snowstorm. It is told from the multiple perspectives of the train passengers. When the tracks go out, the passengers find themselves stuck in a small town train station for the night. Each passenger had a different reason for their Christmas Eve travel and all of them are in a hurry, but as the night progresses each begins to unravel his or her issues and find the true meaning of Christmas. At times some of the characters were downright unlikable, but as the story progresses these characters change.
