I enjoy Carmela and Ava's antics. They may run into trouble but Carmela solves the crimes before the police. Jekyll is a great part of the mysteries. Carmela's boyfriend, and her ex-husband complete the supporting cast. I love Boo and Pumba. This is a wonderful series. The scrapbooking tips are good too.

Cozy mystery, spunky modern girl heroine, all of these books -- not just this author, the whole genre -- are the same. Nancy Drew for grownups. This is neither better nor worse than any other one.

Loved it! I didn't guess the killer's identity. I enjoyed the scrapbooking/craft tips too.

As usual, Carmela gets herself into a deadly situation, but an imaginative solution gets her out of it, and solves the mystery at the same time. Her love life is pretty rocky in this book.
